How to Apply

The LSU Graduate School accepts applications online on the website: https://applygrad.lsu.edu/apply/

• IMPORTANT: Visit the Before You Apply page before starting your application to review all of the necessary documents you'll need to complete your application. You will be asked to attach the required materials and pay the non-refundable application fee prior to submitting the application.

To Check Graduate Application Status:

1. Go to LSU Graduate School’s Apply Now page.

2. Select Check Application Status and login with the email address and password used to create your application.

Important Information

• Documents are usually loaded within 48-hours of receipt. Note that this timeframe will vary significantly during peak application periods and after major holiday breaks due to volume.
   
• You will not receive paper correspondence from the LSU Office of Graduate Admissions. All messages regarding your application will be conveyed via the digital application system.
   
• Be sure to retain your login id and password.  You will need these to see the status of your application.
